Happy Thanksgiving!

It's one day early, but I'm already in the Thanksgiving spirit. I am in a really great mood today...I love the last day of work before the holidays. I think it goes back to when I was a kid working as a bag boy at Ray's Food Fair. Over the Christmas break I would go from part-time to full-time. I loved being in the stores at that time of year. Everybody--the other employees, the customers, the delivery drivers--was in a great mood. Sure, we were working, but there were Christmas carols on the canned store music and the days just flew by. I'm not really sure what I'm rambling about that for, I guess I'm just coming down with a seasonal bug.
So what's been up with the studio? Nothing new...just working a lot. I have been trying to get things organized at the studio, but it seems like the more I try to organize, the less organized I become. It's really a little disheartening. I sort and clean and file and I now have more piles of things to sort, clean and file than ever before. I have client open house coming up in a few weeks, though, so I had better finish my organizing very soon.
When I first signed on to make this entry, I noticed that my last post was my overly optimistic Picture of the Day post from October 9th. Picture a day? I'm not even doing a picture a month. I need to think some more about what I am going to do with this blog because as it stands right now, I feel like nobody is reading this so why bother? I want to devise some actual USEFUL purpose for this blog that will cause people to want to read it. If anybody has a suggestion, please let me know.
It's almost 11AM and I have yet to do any actual WORK. I've run a bunch of errands today and am getting things done, but I haven't spent even a moment pushing the pixels around. I needed to get out of the studio to do some writing (including this entry) and I'm now sitting in the Hen House, thinking about having one more cup of coffee before I get back to business.
I hope that anyone reading this has a great Thanksgiving.
Be well.
